When
photographing automobiles on location there are many things to
watch for. Of course the locations must be suitable, but because
your using natural light, the time of day and angle of the sun
become important. Reflections become a problem as often it is
hard to determine what will be reflected in the car until the
actual car is in place. This was shot with an old Calumet 4x5
camera on Fuji Velvia and Kodak Pro 100 film. I was worried about
getting the color right due to the very overcast day. The soft
light was great, and the best color came from chromes shot with
an 81D warming filter in place. |
