I propped myself in the corner, hiding behind the cake. Armed with my Mamiya 645, Fish-eye lens and loaded with Kodak PMZ 1000 film. It was pretty dark but by leaning against the wall I was able to get a nice, sharp cake shot at 1/15th sec, F5.6 with this set-up. No flash was used.
